This video is a virtual investigation into the number of probiotic bacteria found in four different commercial yogurt products. It uses and demonstrates the serial dilution and spread plate techniques, and shows the results observed on plates after 48 hours of incubation. We have also submitted an accompanying Word document (view Attachments) of an assignment that students can complete after watching this video.
