This session covers eight fundamental principles for those who share content with students online. It's for anyone who provides online learning materials, whether it's sharing documents for in-person classes, running a flipped classroom, teaching online courses, or anything similar. Please note that this session doesn't teach how to use specific tools like D2L/Brightspace.
Learn about our presenter: Simon Heslup is a new Instructional Development Consultant at BCIT’s Learning and Teaching Centre. He holds a Master of Arts in Teaching English as an Additional Language and a Master of Education in Educational Technology. Simon started his career focusing on faculty development while teaching at the University of Calgary in Qatar from 2013 to 2022. He joined BCIT in September from the Caribbean, where he held a faculty development position at St. George’s University in Grenada.
