In this session let's explore how to engage our students and get them excited about learning right from the start of the course. We'll spend a short time looking at how teaching with a Universal Design for Learning lens can foster an environment of engagement by tapping in to different motivations for learning. Participants will have a chance to actively work together to explore ideas that can be incorporated into their teaching with the goal of increasing engagement early on. We'll debrief as a group and hopefully leave with some practical ideas to support our teaching and learning practice.
