Are you interested in climate change or other sustainability issues but don’t know how to
fit it into your curriculum? In this session, we’ll explore tools that anyone can use to bring
sustainability concepts into any classroom, regardless of the core subject matter. We’ll

Presenters
Christina Olsen is a manager with Institute Sustainability, BCIT’s sustainability office. She
has 25+ years in several sustainability and education sectors in Canada, the US, UK, and
Caribbean. Christina holds a master’s degree in Sustainability and Environmental
Management from Harvard and a BA in Environmental Studies – with a joint major in
Anthropology – from the University of Victoria.
Mary Ho is a faculty member at BCIT School of Business + Media, teaching strategic
management and sustainability. She specializes in impact measurement and stakeholder
engagement, and provide consulting services to organizations and research institutions,
translating strategy into measurable outcomes through evidence-based assessment,
